Two ways to use the Lapis API

Your own paper, or your customers'.

For your own business

Your systems make your paper.

Your POS, website or ERP makes, sends and tracks your own invoices, quotations and receipts, in your Lapis look and your own numbering. One key, one account: yours.

Keys and your first call

For your customers, with Lapisan Connect

Your app makes paper for many merchants.

Each merchant approves your app once, from their own Lapis account. Then you call with your own key and say which merchant; their paper stays theirs, in their look and numbering. You pay for the calls, not them.

How Lapisan Connect works

How to start

From sign-up to your first call in minutes.

  1. 1

    Sign up on Lapisan

With your work email. A link signs you in; there is no password to keep.

  2. 2

    Test straight away

A test key and a sandbox business are ready at once. Every write is a dry run, answered the way live would be.

  3. 3

    Ask for live access

Say what you are building, in the Console. AntaraX reads it and switches live keys on.

  4. 4

    Go live

Live keys issue, send and record for real: for your own business, or for merchants who approve your app.

Already on Lapis? Keep making keys in Settings → Developers, or link your Lapis account in the Lapisan Console with the same email.

How it fits together

Many doors. One kernel. The same record.

Whatever calls the Lapis API, a button, your code, an AI assistant or a schedule, reaches the same capabilities with the same checks, and lands in the paper and books Lapis and Angka already keep. Watch a few requests go through, or pick a layer.

The capability kernel

One function per thing a business does

“Issue an invoice” is written once. Every door calls that one function, so the API, an agent and the buttons can never disagree about what an invoice is.

  • Scoped: a key made to read cannot send
  • Idempotent: the same request twice issues one invoice, not two
  • Checked: totals, tax and stages are arithmetic; AI only fills a draft
  • On the record: who asked, through which door, on whose behalf

The same rules as Angka and Lapis today: AI proposes and never decides, what it reads is checked by arithmetic, and every action can be traced to who asked for it.

What you could build

Everything Lapis does on screen, from your code.

Issue from your own system

Invoices, quotations, receipts and delivery orders from your POS, ERP or marketplace, in any of the eight looks, numbered and kept.

Hear when money moves

Webhooks when a document is viewed, accepted, paid in part or in full, or chased: no polling.

Verify any Lapis document

Every Lapis PDF carries a signed record. Check one from its file or its QR, without a model reading it.

Statements and ageing on demand

A customer's statement for any period, with what is owed and for how long, the same figures as the paper.

Ready for e-invoicing

Tax numbers, units and e-invoice IDs carried through, so the paper and the tax authority say the same thing. MyInvois in Malaysia first.

Agents that do the paperwork

An MCP server, so an AI assistant can draft, send and chase paper for a business, with its permission.

In what order

API and agents now. Neural after.

  1. Now

    REST API and webhooks

Test keys straight away on Lapisan, live keys once AntaraX says yes.

  2. Now

    Lapisan Connect

Act for merchants who approve your app once, on your own key.

  3. Now

    MCP for AI agents

Lapis as tools an assistant can use, on the same keys: draft, issue, send, record.

  4. Later

    Neural

Deep finance modelling on the paper a business already has: cash ahead, who pays late, what a price change does.

Who it is for

Developers and platforms

POS, booking and marketplace builders who need proper business paper without building it.

Accounting firms

Issue and collect for clients, with every document traceable back to its signed record.

Enterprise finance

Dealer statements, supplier POs and receipts at volume, in your own branding.

The Lapis API is the first layer.

Lapisan (Malay for “layer”) is the AntaraX developer platform: where developers and partners sign up, get keys and choose a product. The Lapis API is the first product on it; Yara, Janka and Frame come later.
