Terms for Lapis

Lapis is the part of Angka where you make the documents you send: quotations, invoices and receipts. It is run by REKA Inisiatif Sdn Bhd. Using it means agreeing to what is below. If something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it: hello@angka.antarax.ai.

Your documents are yours

• What you write on a document is yours: your wording, your figures, your customers. We do not claim any of it, and we do not use it to sell you anything.
• We keep a copy so you can get it back, so your customer can open the link, and so your numbering carries on. You can ask us to delete all of it at any time.
• We do not check what is in a document. Whether a price is right, whether a tax rate applies, and whether the words are true is yours to know.

What Lapis is not

It is a way of making paper, not an accountant, an auditor or a tax adviser. In particular, a document is only a tax invoice if your business is registered for SST and you have said so on it, and businesses above the e-invoice threshold must also validate their invoices with LHDN, which Lapis does not do yet. If that applies to you, use Lapis for quotations and ordinary invoices, and take tax invoices through MyInvois as you do today.

The email you give us

• It is how your file reaches you, how you get back in, and how we reach you about Lapis.
• We do not sell it, and we do not send marketing to it.
• When you ask us to send a document to your customer, their address is used for that message and kept with the document, nothing else.
• There is no password. Anyone holding the link we email you can open your documents, so treat that message as you would a key.

Links you share

Every document has an unguessable address. Anyone with the link can open it and download the PDF, which is the point: your customer should not need an account. Do not put anything on a document that you would not want the holder of that link to see.

Using it fairly

• Do not use Lapis to send anything unlawful, or to bill people who have not dealt with you.
• There are limits on how many documents an address can email in a day. They exist so one person cannot spoil the sending for everyone.
• We can stop an account that is being used to send unwanted mail, and we will say why.

What it costs

Lapis is free: unlimited documents, unlimited links, all of the types. Emails to your customers are capped per day, which is an abuse limit and not a plan. If that ever changes you will be told at least thirty days ahead, and nothing you already have will be taken away.

What we do not promise

Lapis is new. It can change, pause or be unavailable, and a document you keep here should not be your only copy: download what matters. We are not liable for money you do not collect, or for what a customer does with a document you sent them.

Your data, and ending it
